Later, after the Rashtrakutas reign until 973, it was the turn of the Kalyani Chalukyas to rule until the end of the 12th century. During the time of Ahmad Shah I, the region was again annexed to the Bahmani Kingdom.




In 1455, Jalal Khan became king in Nalgonda. However, his reign did not last long as the region was returned to the Bahmani Kingdom. From the Bahmani Sultan Shihabud-din Mahmun Sultan Quli, the region passed to his son Jamshid. Nalgonda district was under the control of the Qutub Shahis until 1687. butt today The modern era includes the rule of the Mughals and Asif Jahis. Asaf Jahi I, known as Nizam-ul-Mulk, defeated Mubasiz Khan at Berar and became the autonomous ruler of the Deccan.
