About Yadagiri Gutta:

TEMPEL
Yadagiri Gutta, also called as Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple, is a renowned temple of Narasimha Swamy (one form of Lord Vishnu). The name of this temple was derived from the name of Lord Narasimha. According to the legends, the place was named after a hermit called Yadavarishi, who religiously worshiped Lord Narasimha. Lord Narasimha, pleased with the hermit’s devotion, materialized in five different forms such as Jwala, Yogananda, Lakshminarasimha, Gandabherunda and Ugra. The first from of Lord Narasimha was so fiery, that the yogi requested him to appear him in a peaceful form, which he did by appearing along with his counterpart Lakshmi.
